Meggie - Director of Philanthropy, Foundation Director, HSHS

As a high performing individual contributor transitioning to my first senior leadership role, Rebecca was instrumental – vital – to my ability to step into this new position. What was a terrifying proposition at my moment of crisis: Realizing perhaps I didn’t have exactly what I needed to be successful as a manager and leader; was instead an opportunity for monumentous growth in Rebecca’s hands.

She took me from the brink of a burnout poised to see me exit leadership entirely to a curious, adaptable, and committed professional energized by my work and that of my team. She helped me reframe the stumbling blocks in my own mindset and create a framework that allowed me the space to learn in an environment where I felt supported instead of scared. She was empathetic and encouraging, striking the balance between holding me to high expectations while empowering me with the tools to reach them. I truly cannot thank Rebecca enough; working with her was not just “work-changing,” it was life-changing.

Rebecca is incredibly skilled as a coach. She ts a great listener, thinks independently, is able to draw conclusions based on her perspective, literature, and experience. She relayed articles and podcasts to me throughout our time together which were relevant and especially poignant. She was even able to pick out chapters, ideas, and parts of an article that I should pay particular attention to.

Rebecca was bold enough to call out unproductive behaviors (talking about other people when I should've been talking about myself) and insights she was having (“why do you think you do that?) instead of simply saying what she thought. She made me feel very safe in revealing my truths and historical frameworks which meant we could make great strides relatively quickly. She also uses a generous dose of humor so that the sessions ran the gamut of emotions and remained fresh. Superb.
